For this advert, I wanted to create an affordable looking perfume for a female teenage demographic that mimicked high end brands without the additional costs. The simplicity of the advert is meant to reflect the simplicity of the product and how it is not super fancy or luxurious but is meant to give the impression that it is. What I mean by this is that, although the product appears childish and youthful with the large bow on the bottle and repeated use of hearts and pink in the advert, it also has elements that suggest luxury such as the gold and rose gold colour of the typography, the gold of the hearts and the perfume name “liquid beauty” which connotes expensiveness and rareness since it is literally implied to be beauty in a bottle. The name also is meant to show teenage girls that they don’t need these expensive designer brands to smell beautiful or feel beautiful, they just need pink (hence the brand name ‘just pink’)
